Refugee Care Center: Eight Years of Operation and Service (May 2024)

The Refugee Care Center opened its doors in 2017 in the Thessaloniki Railway Station area under the auspices of PES, with support from Agape Hellas and other organizations. Now in its eighth year, the center continues to provide essential aid to vulnerable social groups.

Thanks to the invaluable help of volunteers and partnerships with the Central Vegetable Market, local bakeries, shops, and other sponsors, the center distributes food and clothing, along with offering free language and vocational skills courses. Additionally, it provides facilities for laundry and personal hygiene.

However, this initiative extends beyond addressing basic needs. The center regularly organizes discussions, musical events, and creative activities for children, including games, crafts, theatrical performances, and more.

Located at 5 Pipsou Street, the Refugee Care Center operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 to 16:00, serving over 12,000 people annually.
