28/01/2022Educational Interactive Workshop “DreamMakers-DreamBreakers” under the Auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (December 2021)
The Educational Interactive Workshop “DreamMakers-DreamBreakers,” organized by Agape Greece took place on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Volos. Educators from various disciplines within primary and secondary education attended, traveling from different regions across Greece.
The workshop began with opening addresses by Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Ms. Zetta Makri; Special Education Senior Advisor at the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) Ms. Theodora Asteri; Head of School Activities for Primary Education in Magnesia Mr. Antonis Antoniou; Vice President of the Board of the Prevention Center of Magnesia “Proposal for Life,” Reverend Archimandrite Father Sevastian Zervos; and Mr. Roy Christians, Director of the International School Project (ISP).
The presenters and facilitators of the interactive sessions were:
-Kostas Magos (Associate Professor of Intercultural Education, University of Thessaly).
-Phaidon Kaloterakis (Director of KETHEA Ithaki, President of SEIRIOS Prevention Centers of Thessaloniki, President of the European Federation of Therapeutic Communities, Vice President of the World Federation of Therapeutic Communities, Scientific Advisor to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime).
-Natalia Zachartzi (Social Worker, MSc, Scientific Director of SEIRIOS Prevention Centers for Addiction and Psychosocial Health Promotion – Municipality of Thessaloniki, Coordinator of ISSUP Greece).
-Tania Avella (Educator, MEd in Pedagogy, Youth Counselor, Scientific Director of the Program).

The Educational Program “DreamMakers-DreamBreakers” is approved by the Institute of Educational Policy and is included in the IEP’s Skills Workshops.
