Partnerships Beyond Borders Summit 2 (May 2025)

The second Partnerships Beyond Borders Summit took place this year in Thessaloniki and Volos, building on the work that began in 2024 with the goal of strengthening collaboration and mutual understanding among Christian leaders and organizational representatives from different countries and traditions. Participants from more than 15 nations – including Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Switzerland, Uganda, and the United States — shared experiences, visions, and practices that promote spiritual growth, social engagement, and international networking. The locations of Thessaloniki and Volos proved ideal for this endeavor, offering a welcoming environment for dialogue, exchange, and shared reflection.

Through constructive discussions, presentations, and workshops, the summit highlighted ways in which shared faith can transform collaboration – fostering relationships of trust and joint initiatives that respond to the needs of local communities. Participants returned to their countries with renewed vision and practical tools they can adapt to their own contexts, with the aim of continuing the journey toward a more united and active Christian witness, not only in Europe but beyond.
