A Touch of Love at the “Chariseio” Foundation (June 2020)

In the realm of Humanitarian Work, Agape is committed to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in our country by providing essential supplies (food, clothing, etc.) to various organizations and institutions engaged in similar social and humanitarian missions.

While addressing practical needs is undeniably crucial, it is not always enough. At times, what is truly needed is something more: a smile, a small gift, a bit of companionship, or a simple act of kindness that can help break through feelings of insecurity, fear, or disappointment, fostering a vital connection with the “outside” world.

For this reason, Agape planned to organize a small musical event to share love and joy with the approximately 120 residents of the “Chariseio” Foundation—a care facility for the elderly that meets the needs of this particularly vulnerable social group with exceptional attention and sensitivity.

Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns made it impossible to hold the event. Nonetheless, the gifts, lovingly and thoughtfully prepared by Agape, were safely delivered to the institution’s staff outside the facility. These tokens of care brought pleasant surprises and spread smiles among the residents.
