“Partnerships Beyond Borders Summit” (May 2024)

A particularly significant meeting took place in May 2024 in Thessaloniki and Volos, bringing together participants from various European countries. The attendees had the honor of meeting His Eminence, Metropolitan Ignatios of Demetrias and Almyros, as well as Mr. Meletis Meletiadis, pastor of the Evangelical Church of Volos. Together, with more than twenty years of collaboration in the wider region of Magnesia, they have demonstrated remarkable results in both effective ministry and unity.

The purpose of the meeting was to highlight not only the challenges but also the opportunities and blessings that can arise from collaboration among Christian traditions. Participants were invited to identify common goals within their own contexts and to reflect on ways to address significant problems.

At the same time, they were encouraged to explore how such collaborations can contribute to the revitalization of Christian faith, build bridges of understanding and unity, and inspire practical applications in their own countries, thereby strengthening their mission and bringing Christian testimony closer to society.
