He introduced the participants to the study material &#8220;Going Deeper with Jesus Christ&#8221;\u2014a product of this collaboration\u2014and the &#8220;Jesus Film&#8221;, excerpts of which will be shown at each session to deepen the exploration of each section of the study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As His Eminence highlighted, the film closely follows the Gospel of Luke and is considered one of the most accurate and historically reliable portrayals of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. A longstanding initiative is in place to distribute the film\u2014along with the New Testament\u2014to every household in the Metropolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His Eminence also encouraged personal study, reminding participants: \u201cThe Holy Bible is meant to be read and studied, not merely displayed on our home altars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, he presented the \u201cGoing Deeper with Jesus Christ\u201d material (distributed to all participants), which will serve as a guide for studying the Gospel of Luke. He emphasized the value of Patristic texts that enrich the Biblical readings, the importance of interactive discussion topics, and the essential role of personal reflection and practical application of the lessons discussed.
